Perhaps the most important addition made in this update is the Night Shift mode, which adjusts the colors of the display in accordance with the time of the day and user’s current location. More 3D Touch shortcuts have also been added for iPhone 6s and 6s Plus for Weather, Compass, Health, Settings, App Store and iTunes Store. Apple has also added the ability to jump between corresponding applications from Apple Pay and Wallet apps.
To ensure user’s privacy iOS 9.3 will be bringing a security feature for the Notes app, which will allow users to password and Touch ID protect their Notes so no one can access them without owner’s permission. On a side note we hope Apple will bring this feature to more stock and third-party apps. Other features include Activity app data in Health app, Ability for users to choose if they want to import a still duplicate for a Live Photo in Mac’s Photos app, Taptic feedback while opening app switcher with 3D Touch gesture and more.
iOS 9.3 is in developer only beta right now, however it is expected that the company will launch a public beta of the same in the coming weeks. We will let you know when it is available.
